School Resource Officers

Meet Our School Resource Officers

Chris Burns, a School Resource Officer, stands in a parking lot wearing a uniform.

I was born in Queens, New York and grew up on Long Island, NY. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a Police Officer. I graduated from St. Johns University with a Business Degree and later obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. I retired as a Sergeant after 30 years in New Jersey. I was not retired long when I decided that law enforcement was still a part of who I am. I have been with Osceola County Sheriff for four years and enjoy my time being involved with students in schools. I have been married over 30 years and have two grown children. On my free time I enjoy traveling, indoor cycle classes, and being with the family.

Ethan Fournier, School Resource Officer, stands on a field wearing a white shirt and sunglasses, looking relaxed and approachable.

I have been with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office for 11 years. I have worked in the patrol division, school safety division, and helped create the agency's veterans outreach division as well as the agency's police athletic league. Prior to the sheriff's office, I was in the United States Army where during part of time, I was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn. I am also a Celebration High School Class of 2009 graduate! My passion is working and coaching the youth of our community. I am also the girl's flag football coach and in my 8 years of coaching, I have helped 9 girls obtain flag football scholarships to different universities. Go Storm!
