Principal’s Message

Welcome to the Celebration High School homepage! I am extremely excited and proud to serve as the principal of such an amazing high school. As we move into the second quarter of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the opportunities ahead and the incredible things happening throughout Storm Nation.

At Celebration High School, we believe that every student deserves to find their place, discover their passions, and feel connected to our school community. Our theme this year, #EmbraceOpportunity, is more than just a slogan. It is a reminder to our students, staff, and families that every day presents a new opportunity to learn, grow, and become better than we were yesterday.

As we begin the second quarter, our focus continues to be on academic achievement and student growth. Our teachers and students are working hard to prepare for the upcoming PM2 assessments in English Language Arts and quarterly assessments in Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology, and U.S. History. The second quarter is an important time for students to build on their first-quarter successes or make adjustments where improvement is needed. I encourage all our Storm students to take ownership of their learning, attend school regularly, complete assignments, and take advantage of the academic support available to them. A student's first-quarter performance does not have to define their semester. There is still time to improve, grow, and finish strong.

Of course, none of this is possible without the continued support of our families. Parents and guardians play an essential role in student success. Whether it is checking grades, encouraging consistent attendance, communicating with teachers, or simply asking your student about their day, your involvement makes a difference. The partnership between home and school is one of the most important factors in helping our students reach their full potential.

At Celebration High School, we are fortunate to offer an incredible variety of academic programs, including Advanced Placement (AP), AVID, AICE, and our fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering both the Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP). We are also excited to be in our second year of the 3DE program through Junior Achievement, building on a highly successful first year and providing students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences.

Beyond the classroom, our visual and performing arts programs continue to be among the best in Osceola County. Our AFJROTC program has established a tradition of excellence, winning the county championship four consecutive years. With more than 30 clubs and student organizations, along with a full slate of athletic programs, there truly is something for everyone at Celebration High School. I encourage every student to get involved. Some of the most valuable lessons learned in high school happen outside the classroom, through teamwork, leadership, friendships, and discovering new interests.

Our ultimate goal is to see every Storm student walk across the graduation stage prepared for whatever comes next. However, earning a diploma is only part of that goal. We want our students to graduate with opportunities, whether through IB, AP, Dual Enrollment, or Industry Certifications, and with a clear plan for their future. Our commitment to the 4 E's — Enroll, Enlist, Employment, or Explore — ensures that we are helping students identify and prepare for the path that best fits their individual goals and aspirations.

As we continue through the second quarter, I challenge every member of Storm Nation to embrace the opportunities in front of them. For our students, that might mean improving a grade, joining a club, asking for help, or stepping outside their comfort zone. For our families, it might mean having one more conversation about school or finding another way to stay involved. Small actions, taken consistently, can make a tremendous difference.

Again, welcome to Celebration High School! I am looking forward to another successful quarter filled with academic growth, student accomplishments, and opportunities to celebrate everything that makes Storm Nation special.
