The following guidelines should be reviewed as related to school appearance at Celebration High School.
Student IDs
Must always be visible
Tops
Polos: Navy Blue, White, Black, Purple
Celebration High School Spirit Shirt
Tops must have sleeves (no straps)
Bottoms
Blue, Black, or Khaki pants, shorts, or skirts
Denim material is okay
*On Wednesdays only, students may wear a college or military shirt (not just camouflage)
Outerwear
Inside the classroom, outer garments shall be removed, completely unzipped, or left open to allow for the school uniform to be visible. Long overcoats are not permitted on school grounds or at any school-sponsored event. School-sponsored CHS sweatshirts may be worn over the school approved uniform. When outer garments with a hood are worn, the hoods must be removed from the head, while on school property or school sponsored event. No outer garments without zippers or buttons may be worn on school property unless the outer garment is a school sponsored item.
No undergarments showing
No crop top/stomach showing
No shorts above mid-thigh
No rips/tears/holes/etc. in pants above the knee
No joggers
No yoga pants
No leggings
No sagging pants
No hats/bandanas/hoods
No inappropriate logos/designs
No sweatpants/pajama pants
No plaid/patterns
No non-approved shirts over approved shirts
Dress code violation (DCV) progression is as follows:
1-4 DCV's = Warning and Parent Notification
5-8 DCV's = Lunch Detention
9-12 DCV's = 1/2 day of ISS
13+ DCV's = 1 day of ISS
*Dress code counts reset each quarter.
**At the discretion of administration, any student might be sent to ISS if the dress code violation is egregious and cannot be immediately corrected. Students would be allowed to return to class once the violation is corrected.
