STUDENT LAPTOPS OVERVIEW

A white clock displayed prominently against a solid black background, emphasizing its design and timekeeping function.

All students at Celebration High School can check out a laptop, charger and laptop case (if available) once a Student Device Loan Agreement is signed and turned in to the Tech Department. The device is allowed to go home with the student and returned each day for classroom use. The student will need to bring the device to school every day fully charged ready for class. The device will be filtered and monitored during school and home use. Students will be responsible for taking care of all equipment and returning it in the same condition in which it was provided. If any equipment is intentionally damaged or lost while it is checked out to a student, they must contact the school and a fee will be issued based on the situation.

PROCEDURES

Lost, Stolen or Destroyed devices must be reported to the School Techs immediately.

For stolen devices, a police report must be filled out before receiving a replacement laptop.

Devices with physical damage (broken screens, missing keys, broken bottom case, etc.) will be assessed by Administration and a decision will be made about any fees or obligations.

REQUIRED FORMS

Before we can distribute any technology device to a student, it is required that the Student Device Loan Agreement be completed and signed by parent/guardian. The form can also be filled out via the Focus Parent Portal under Forms. These forms will be submitted to school personnel at the time of laptop distribution.

TECH SUPPORT

Okay students, we get it. Sometimes things break, you get locked out, etc. We are here to help. If you have tech issues, visit our school techs in Portable 1118, available during both lunches.
