Board Members Group PhotoStrongly believing in the need to reward employees for their hard work despite limited budgets, the Osceola County School Board has offered an estimated value of over $625,000 in salaries and benefits to employees under the Teamsters Local 385 contract during current negotiations. The School Board is offering numerous wage and benefit incentives including:

• Thirty cents an hour salary increase, which is equivalent to a 2% increase, for all Teamster employees;

• An Employee Recruitment Incentive equal to $250 for each job candidate referred to and who is successfully hired by the School District and successfully completes a minimum of 90 days of employment; and

• Continued Board contributions for health insurance and a no-cost option for individual employee Health Insurance Plans, as well as the Center for Employee Health.

It is the School Board’s desire to settle the contract with Teamsters before this current school year ends.
